Deputy Chairman
He is also Chairman of MasterCard Middle East and North Africa Advisory Board, Chairman of QNB Capital (the investment banking and advisory arm of QNB Group) and Chairman of QNB Privée Suisse in Switzerland, as well as Vice Chairman of Qatar Stock Exchange.
Possessing an MSc in Management Information Systems from the Seattle Pacific University and a BSc in Math and Computer Science from the Eastern Washington University, he also attended a number of executive programmes at the Wharton School of Business, London Business School, Cambridge University, and Duke University.

He served as IT Director at the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) where he was responsible for establishing the IT department and setting up investment and financial system applications. As well as serving as IT Director at Qatar Olympics Committee and the Head of Applied Systems at the Ministry of the Interior.
He worked in various positions at Qatar Petroleum directly after graduation, holds a BSc degree in Computer and Management Sciences and has expertise in administration, IT, and financial services.

Yousuf has a strong financial background with experience across a variety of roles. Prior to joining the QFC, he was Head of Indirect Investment at the Qatar General Retirement and Pension Authority, which included overseeing the management of hedge fund, private equity, real estate, fixed income and equity portfolio investments. His previous experiences include engineering project work for Qatar Petroleum and Dolphin Energy and managing various real-estate projects in Qatar.
He represents QFC on the boards of the Qatar Stock Exchange, the Qatar Finance and Business Academy, the Financial Markets Development Committee and the Free Zones Authority. He also sits on the Advisory Council of Qatar University's College of Business & Economics. He has previously sat on the boards of Nakilat QSC and the US$1 billion strategic investment fund of Unicorn Investment Bank, as well as serving as Vice Chairman of Mayadeen Real Estate Company KSCC.

Chief Legal Officer and Board Secretary
In his current role as Chief Legal Officer, Nasser heads a department of lawyers from various countries with extensive backgrounds. He manages and works on various matters, including ensuring that QFC adopts and adheres to best internationally accepted practices in governance compliance. He is a lead in supporting QFC’s vision as a regulator and platform for conducting business and oversaw the drafting and updating of the new QFC Law.
Prior to joining QFC, Nasser worked as a Legal Counsel for Royal Dutch Shell in various locations. As well as advising and supporting Qatar Shell during the implementation of the new tax law in Qatar, he ensured compliance with the various laws of Qatar including the Qatari Commercial Companies Law, Commercial Law, and Labour Law, and the provisions of the concession agreements between Shell and the Government of Qatar. He also worked on mega transactions including mergers and acquisitions and LNG projects.
As part of this role, he also liaised and interacted with various organisations including Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation, QatarGas, Barwa Real Estate, and Qatar Science and Technology Park, and has handled stakeholder engagement and legal matters with various authorities, ministries and departments in Qatar.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Laws from the University of Leeds and a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Law, where he graduated with distinction. Close

Raed worked within many prominent Qatari organisations such as Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation and Barwa Real Estate. He has been involved with projects in the hydrocarbon and the real estate development industries both in Qatar and internationally.
Throughout his career he has been entrusted with many critical roles, including the role of Chief Operations Engineer at Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), handling clients such as Shell, Rolls-Royce, Microsoft, ExxonMobil, and General Electric, among others.
Committed to entrepreneurship, Raed assisted in the establishment of the Bedaya Center and the Qatar Business Incubation Center, where he continues to serve as a board member.

In these capacities, he assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the QFC in addition to his responsibility to oversee the financial planning and execution of financial activities for all QFC affiliates (QFCA, Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre and Qatar Finance and Business Academy) and to ensure adherence to QFC's values of transparency, efficiency and integrity.
Hamed has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining the QFC, he had worked at RasGas Company for 10 years, where he held a number of high profile positions, including General Accounting Manager. Hamed had also worked for another 5 years at Qatar University’s Administrative Department.
Hamed holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Qatar University and an Executive MBA from the University of Plymouth (UK). He also has specific expertise in audit, project management and executive leadership.
Hamed is Board Member of Qatari Association of Certified Public Accountants QCPA (2018 – 2021 cycle). Close

Abdulla Mohamed Al-Hajri was appointed Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and member of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority in July 2020. He previously held the role of Acting CAO since September 2019, where he had several accomplishments in the administrative functions within the QFC’s Human Capital, IT, Procurement and Facilities Management departments, as well as other special projects.
Prior to joining the QFC, Al-Hajri held different roles at reputable organisations throughout his career which spans nearly 15 years. He formerly served as a Portfolio Manager and Contract Performance Manager of the Global Facilities Management Platform at Qatar Shell. He also held the position of Head of Private Projects Division of the Private Engineering Office, as well as the Head of Maintenance of Qatar Olympic Committee.
Abdulla Al-Hajri holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University, Kansas, USA.

She played a critical role in identifying international alliances for the QFC, securing a membership for the entity at the World Alliance of International Financial Centers, which provides essential industry solutions to drive the next wave of economic growth. In addition, Sarah spearheaded the QFC’s first media partnership with a global media outlet, Bloomberg Media, whereby she oversaw the launch of Bloomberg’s first television studio in Qatar with the aim to develop an emerging media hub.
Prior to joining QFC, Sarah worked in several prominent organizations such as Qatar Petroleum International and Qatar Foundation. She also served secondments as Strategic Communications Advisor in the Ministry of Finance and as Negotiator for the Ministry of Environment working with the United Nations Climate Change Conference. She has also authored several strategic policy reports during her time at RAND Corporation.
Sarah is currently a board member of Injaz Qatar, an organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. She holds a B.Sc. in International Political Economy from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. and an Executive Master’s in Strategic Business Management from HEC Qatar. Close

Prior to joining the QFC, Alanoud served as the Qatar Country Director for Silatech, a Qatar-based social initiative that connects young people to employment opportunities across the Arab region. She has also held other positions working with various UN agencies and international organisations specialising in issues covering economic development, focusing on education, private sector development, and youth employment. She has authored numerous reports on the subject matters.
Alanoud has been a board member of a number of organizations, including Vice Chair for the Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Guidance, Tomouh, How Women Work, i2Co School of Transformative Leadership, Qatar-UK Alumni Board – British Council, and Future Foreign Policy in the UK. Henk has held senior management roles at ABN AMRO Bank and Deutsche Bank in the Netherlands and the Middle East and has a solid track record of implementing businesses in the financial sector.
Prior to joining QFC, Henk served as Mashreq Qatar's Country CEO and Managing Director of Deutsche Bank, Head Non-Bank Financial Institutions, where he was responsible for insurers, pension funds, fintech, and implementing strategic and business plans across Europe.
He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and has participated in executive education at the London Business School and INSEAD. Close
