• 1. 8230-001 - Organisation, promotion and management of events, such as business and trade shows, conventions, conferences and meetings, whether or not including the management of the contractor staff to operate the facilities in which the events take place; and
  2. 8230-002 - Ancillary services to event management including budgeting, establishing timelines, selecting and reserving event sites and acquiring permits.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Event Management Services may not physically set-up or host events.

• The activity cluster "C21 - Sports Data and Science Activities" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7211-001 - Monitoring, tracking and analysing performance of athletes and game statistics;
  2. 7211-002 - Provision of developing systems, policies and measures to track, manage and develop performance for athletes, coaches and sport entities; and

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Sports Data and Science Activities may not provide physical training or coaching.

• The activity cluster "C22 - Sports Agency Activities" includes the following business activities:

  2. 9313-002 - Procuring and negotiating employment and endorsement contracts for sports figures; and

• The activity cluster "C26 - Will Writing and Estate Planning" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 6914-001 - Will writing; and
  2. 6914-002 - Estate planning.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Will Writing and Estate Planning must obtain professional indemnity insurance and must conduct its activities in accordance with applicable laws.

• The activity cluster "C27.1 - Leasing of Intellectual Property Rights" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7740-001 - Leasing of intellectual property rights in patents;
  2. 7740-002 - Leasing of intellectual property rights in trademarks;

• The activity cluster "C27.2 - Management of Intellectual Property Rights" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7741-001 - Registering intellectual property rights on behalf of third parties;
  2. 7741-002 - Maintaining intellectual property rights on behalf of third parties;
  3. 7741-003 - Monitoring the use of intellectual property rights on behalf of third parties; and
  4. 7741-004 - Managing intellectual property portfolios on behalf of third parties.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Management of Intellectual Property Rights may not:
• 1. produce, reproduce or distribute copyrighted works (books, software, film);

C28.1 - Auditing

• The activity cluster "C28.1 - Auditing" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 6920-001 - Performing audits, examination, verification, investigation, certification, presentation or review of financial transactions and accounting records; and
  2. 6920-002 - Preparing or certifying reports on audits or examinations of books or records of account, balance sheets and other financial accounting and related documents.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Auditing may not engage in the following:
• 1. data-processing and tabulation activities;
  2. management consultancy activities, such as the design of accounting systems, cost accounting programmes, and budgetary control procedures; or
  3. bill collection.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Auditing must obtain professional indemnity insurance.

C28.2 - Accountancy

• The activity cluster "C28.2 - Accountancy" consists of the following business activity:
• 1. 6921-001 - Advising on accounting procedure and the recording, presentation or certification of financial information or data, including bookkeeping, payroll processing and preparation of financial accounts.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Accountancy may not engage in the following:
• 1. data-processing and tabulation activities;
  2. management consultancy activities, such as the design of accounting systems, cost accounting programmes, and budgetary control procedures; or
  3. bill collection.

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Accountancy must obtain professional indemnity insurance.

• The activity cluster "C29 - Accreditation" consists of the following business activity:
• 1. 6922-001 - Accrediting and evaluating the conformity of a good or service to internationally recognised standards acceptable to the QFCA.

• The activity cluster "C30.1 - Architectural Activities" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7110-001 - Building design and drafting of institutional, leisure, commercial and industrial buildings and structures; and
  2. 7110-002 - Town and city planning, landscape architecture and urban planning.

• The activity cluster "C30.2 - Engineering Design, Technical and Scientific Consultancy" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7111-001 - Consulting on industrial processes and providing advice on machinery and industrial plants;
  2. 7111-002 - Projects involving civil engineering and hydraulic engineering;
  3. 7111-003 - Traffic and mobility engineering;

• Where applicable, and unless permitted otherwise by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Geodetic Surveying Activities may be required to obtain approvals from relevant State authorities.

• The activity cluster "C30.5 - Project Management" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7114-001 - Providing project and program management services;
  2. 7114-002 - Providing framework and methodology development and outsourced services;
  3. 7114-003 - Providing service as a project management office for another entity;
  4. 7114-004 - Designing project management governance structures;

• The activity cluster “C32 - Activities of Employment Agencies” includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7810-001 - Personnel search, selection, referral and placement activities, including executive placement and search activities;
  2. 7810-002 - Activities of casting agencies and bureaus, such as theatrical casting agencies; and
  3. 7810-003 - Activities of on-line employment placement agencies.

• The activity cluster “C33 - Temporary Employment Agency Activities” consists of the following business activity:
• 1. 7820-001 - Supplying manpower to clients’ businesses for a prescribed period of time to temporarily replace or supplement the working force of the client, where the individuals provided are employees of the Licensed Firm.
• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Temporary Employment Agency Activities must only supply manpower to perform professional service, desk, managerial or administrative work.
• A Licensed Firm that engages in Temporary Employment Agency Activities must obtain professional indemnity insurance.
• The QFCA may issue standards, requirements, conditions or restrictions in respect of Temporary Employment Agency Activities.

• The activity cluster “C34 - Combined Office Administrative Service Activities” consists of the following business activity:
• 1. 8215-001 - Managed or shared service centre and other business support service activities (administration, finance, human resources, operations, data processing).
• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Combined Office Administrative Service Activities may not engage in Temporary Employment Agency Activities.

• The activity cluster "C35 - Activities of Call Centres" consists of the following business activity:
• 1. 8220-001 - Activities of inbound call centres.
• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Activities of Call Centres may not engage in Temporary Employment Agency Activities.

• The activity cluster "C36 - Risk and Damage Evaluation" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 6621-001 - Claims adjusting;
  2. 6621-002 - Risk assessing and risk and damage evaluation;
  3. 6621-003 - Average and loss adjusting;
  4. 6621-004 - Settling insurance claims.

• The activity cluster "C37 - Technical Testing and Analysis" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 7120-001 - Acoustic and vibration testing;
  2. 7120-002 - Testing the composition and purity of minerals;
  3. 7120-003 - Testing activities in the field of food hygiene, including veterinary testing and control in relation to food production;
  4. 7120-004 - Testing of physical characteristics and performance of materials such as strength, thickness, durability and radioactivity;

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Investigation Activities may not provide:
• 1. Business-to-consumer services;
  2. Services to any industry other than the financial services industry; or
  3. Physical crime investigations.

• The activity cluster "C39 - Professional Education" includes the following business activities:
• 1. 8542-001 - Non-academic courses on banking and insurance;
  2. 8542-002 - Non-academic courses on Islamic finance;
  3. 8542-003 - Non-academic courses on capital market and asset management;
  4. 8542-004 - Non-academic law courses;
  5. 8542-005 - Non-academic courses on compliance and anti-money laundering;
  6. 8542-006 - Non-academic foundation programmes;
  7. 8542-007 - Other non-academic professional and financial courses.
• Where applicable, and unless permitted otherwise by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Professional Education may be required to obtain approvals from relevant State authorities.

• The activity cluster "C40 - Other Education" includes the following business activities:

  2. 8549-002 - College board preparation;
  3. 8549-003 - Learning centres offering remedial courses;
  4. 8549-004 - Professional examination review courses;

• Where applicable, and unless permitted otherwise by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that engages in Other Education may be required to obtain approvals from relevant State authorities.

• The activity cluster “C41 - Other Activities Auxiliary to Insurance and Pension Funding” includes the following business activities:
• 1. 6629-001 - Salvage administration in relation to insurance and pension funding;
  2. 6629-002 - Actuarial services in relation to insurance and pension funding.

• The activity cluster “C42 - Trust and Company Service Providers” includes the following business activities:
• 1. 8213-001 - Acting as formation agent for legal persons or arrangements;
  2. 8213-002 - Acting as, or arranging for another person to act as, a director or secretary of a company, a partner of a partnership or a similar position in relation to other legal persons;
  3. 8213-003 - Providing a registered office, business address or accommodation, or providing a correspondence or administration address for a company, a partnership or any other legal person or arrangement;

  2. 8216-002 - Acting as an administrator for an entity in administration;

• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that is a Third Party Administrator may not provide diagnostic, medical or other healthcare advice or services to individual customers.

• The activity cluster “C45 - Support Service Providers” includes the following business activities:
• 1. 8214-001 - Providing a registered address for a QFC Entity;
  2. 8214-002 - Acting as a secretary for a QFC Entity;
  3. 8214-003 - Acting as a Senior Executive Function for a QFC Entity.
• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that is a Support Service Provider must obtain professional indemnity insurance.
• Unless otherwise permitted by the QFCA, a Licensed Firm that is a Support Service Provider may not provide its services for and on behalf of a trust.
