The COVID-19 outbreak is dramatically changing the world, leading to significant shifts in our lifestyle, business activities, as well as revision of goals and challenges for governments all around the globe to deal with. The world is in need for the breakthrough technologies and innovative solutions aimed at saving people’s lives and mitigating all consequences of the pandemic. Many of these solutions and technologies are developed and created at specialized platforms of global financial and innovation centres by their participants and residents.

Context

‘WAIFC Innovation and Technology Forum’ will discuss the strategic role of international financial centres in driving this economic recovery. It will also shed light on the criticality of cross-industry collaborations and innovative technology-based solutions in addressing the challenges post COVID-19.

The forum will gather leading experts in the global economy and advanced technologies to debate on how cooperation between IFCs can address effects of global COVID-19 pandemic.
